Fred Smith's Wisconsin Concrete Park
Art · Attraction
Home to 237 extraordinary concrete sculptures at N8236 State Hwy 13 in Phillips, Wisconsin. Created by self-taught artist Fred Smith, who started making them in his 60s after retiring from logging. The sculptures depict everything from Paul Bunyan to the Statue of Liberty to local wildlife, all made of concrete and embedded with glass, mirrors, and beer bottles. A monument to the Northwoods imagination and proof that retirement hobbies can get out of hand in the best way.
