An entire museum at 33 West Maple Avenue in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, dedicated to ventriloquist dummies. Over 1,100 figures and artifacts. Open May through September, by appointment only — which somehow makes it creepier. Founded by William Shakespeare Berger, a man whose name was already doing a lot of heavy lifting before he started collecting dummies. The energy in this building is deeply unsettling and completely worth the visit.
