A basement exhibition at 1250 Massachusetts Ave in Boston showcasing paintings and sculptures that do not conform to conventional aesthetics. That’s the polite way of saying the art is terrible, and that’s the point. Every piece was made in earnest. The museum’s mission is to celebrate art that would be “rejected by any other museum.” It’s the only place where being bad is the admission requirement.
